The Rolex Air-King was created by Hans Wilsdorf to honour WWII pilots and as such has been in production since the 1940s, making it one of Rolex’s most historic models. The reference 116900 was launched in 2016 and gained an enlarged 40mm oystersteel case but still retained the legendary DNA of the Air-King models. This is complemented by the in-house Rolex 3131 calibre and oyster bracelet with folding clasp.
We are fortunate to offer this 2018 example that was supplied new to the UK market and is complete with its original box and warranty card. Presenting in very good but unpolished condition, this example does show some wear-related marks but has lived a cherished existence as part of an extensive Rolex collection.
