Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow 1957 Re-Edition 40th Anniversary

The Speedmaster Broad Arrow ‘Re-Edition’ was first released in 1997 to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the Omega Speedmaster. Reference 3594.50.00 boasted a similar dial, bezel, hands and logo as the famous “Broad Arrow” of 1957 and was affectionately nicknamed the ‘Replica’ or ‘Re-Edition’ in period as an early homage to the very first Speedmaster shown to the world.

The Re-Edition was faithful to the original CK2915 with its distinctive broad arrow handset, which was fitted inside a 42mm steel case and powered by the infamous Calibre 1861 manual movement, complete with 48-hour power reserve. Further, this reference was also included in the legendary ‘Missions Set’ of watches that was also released in the same year, with 40 cases being produced to signify the important birthday of the Speedmaster.

We are fortunate to offer the following example to the market, which presents in very good condition and is complete with box and cards. According to the Omega Extract from the Archives that accompanies the piece, it was supplied in June 2003 as a special order to Panama.
