Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow 1957 Re-Edition 40th Anniversary

The Speedmaster Broad Arrow ‘Re-Edition’ was released in 1997 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Omega Speedmaster, which was introduced in 1957. Instantly recognisable due to the Broad Arrow hands, reference 3594.50.00 also exhibited a similar dial colour, bezel style and applied logo as the famous CK2915; the original Speedmaster.

These features were fitted inside a 42mm steel case and powered by the infamous Calibre 1861 manual movement, complete with 48-hour power reserve. Not only was the ’57 Re-Edition a 40th Anniversary piece, it was also introduced as part of the ‘Missions Set’ of Speedmasters, which remains one of the most desirable collection of Speedys to date. In total, just 40 of these Sets were produced to mark the 40th Anniversary, with limited numbers of the individual references also available for separate purchase.

We are fortunate to offer the following Broad Arrow ’57 Re-Edition to the market, which presents in very good condition following a service with Omega that was completed in June 2023. Works carried out included a comprehensive chronograph service, replacement of hands, new spring bars and new crystal. According to the Omega Extract from the Archives that accompanies the piece, it was supplied new to Luxembourg in February 2000 and remains complete with its original box and warranty card.

Watch is currently complete with the following:
– Omega Presentation Box
