Omega received the ‘Silver Snoopy Award’ from NASA astronauts following the Apollo 13 mission in 1970, which is acknowledged here in the latest Speedmaster to wear the iconic Snoopy patch.
Ref – 31032425002001 is quite possibly the most iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch in the current range with a striking Silver dial with Blue ceramic bezel and sub-dials.
Even more unique than the dial is the caseback which is complete with a vision of the far side of the Moon and Planet Earth decorated on the sapphire crystal. Further, Snoopy in his Command and Service Module (CSM) is shown on a magical hand that rotates with the chronograph function.
This example is completely unworn and has only been removed from the Omega travel packaging for the purposes of imagery; the perfect example for the most discerning of collectors.
