Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss 116400GV Black Dial

The Rolex Milgauss is an iconic model from the brand’s illustrious history and was re-introduced in the 2010s as a homage to the original of the 1950s. One of the most recognisable features is the orange lightning bold seconds hand and orange markers, however it was the ‘GV’ references that were by far the most popular when introduced.

GV refers to ‘Glace Verte’ which denotes the green-tinted sapphire crystal that remains unique to the Milgauss model in the Rolex range and was initially introduced on the black dial, as is shown here. The calibre 3131 is a movement with 48-hour power reserve and is chronometer-certified.

This example was supplied new to Harrods, London in February 2011 and remains a single owner watch. It has been well worn and enjoyed throughout its life but remains entirely original and unpolished and presents in good condition. It is complete with its original Rolex presentation and box and warranty card.
